Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

You should wear short shorts and a tank top. Sports Bras are recommended for protection and support. We need to have a lot of skin exposed (back of knees exposed as early as Intro to Pole), as you need to stick to the pole. Fabric will slide right off the pole, giving you no grip.
Dry hands, knee pads, leg warmers, shorts, tank top, and water.
Yoga appropriate attire.
Check your class description. But we always encourage you to be in comfortable gym clothes, and check to see if you class requires high heels. Dance heels, or stripper heels (Pleaser USA, Ellie Shoes and Lapdance.)

What if I show up late? Can I still join the class?

You are required to show up at least 5 min ahead of class, as we have a strict no late entry policy. The door closes at 5 minutes after class start time.  Be here early enough to change and be ready to start class on time, or you will not be let in and will not be refunded for the class you missed. There is a $15.00 cancellation policy if the class is not cancelled 3 hours prior to class time.

Do I need to sign up in advance or can I just drop in for class?

Classes fill up quickly, so you are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible to the class you would like to attend, to ensure your spot in class. We do accept walk in students if there is an open space in class.

Do I need a dance background?

No you don’t. You will learn everything you need to know at our classes. Start in the beginner classes on the schedule, and slowly work your way up when you feel ready to.

I have no upper body strength / I'm a curvy Queen / I need to work out before I need to take these classes / Will that be a problem?

It is not a problem. Our job is to get you stronger quickly. We will teach you everything you need to know on how to become stronger in your upper body, core and all over body fitness. Our mission is to make working out and loving your body fun! If you want to be a great runner, you don't swim, you just run!

What else should I know?

You should NOT wear ANY lotion on your hands and legs the day of POLE FITNESS class. Sweating will release the lotion back to the surface, and you will be sliding off the pole.
